The Festival Committee plans the Eken Park Festival, which is held annually in August. The committee arranges logistics, entertainment, vendors, beer, and volunteers. 

The festival always needs volunteers. Volunteers do things like selling beer tickets, providing neighborhood information, security, emptying trash, and supporting the children’s area. It’s a great way to get involved and meet neighbors. 

If you want to get involved with planning the 2026 festival (roles include coordination, working with the city on permits, working with bands and vendors, site logistics, finances and more), contact festival@northstreetna.org. Planning usually begins in the winter.
