NSNA Earth Day Clean-Up

Join the efforts of North Street Neighborhood Association in cleaning up our neighborhoods for Earth Day! Meet us at North Street and Commercial Avenue (butterfly gardens – across from Tip Top) on Saturday 4/26/25 at 10:00AM for supplies and head out with friends and neighbors to pick up trash in parks, along neighborhood streets and bus stops. Cafe Domestique is graciously donating coffee for our meet up spot – please bring your own mug.

If you are specifically interested in supporting efforts at Demetral Park, please register with the City to join their Parks Earth Day Challenge!

Collected trash can be disposed of at the following pick up points:

-Demetral Park Shelter (place in or near shelter trash cans)

-Eken Park (place in trash cans or at curb by park sign)

-Washington Manor Park (place in trash cans or at curb by park sign)

When you are done, head over to Northstreet for their Earth Day Fair happening Saturday 4/26/25 from 10:00AM-2:00PM.

November 2024 North Street Neighborhood Association Meeting Agenda

Our November meeting will be on Thursday, November 7th, at 6:30pm, at Bashford Church, with a call-in option (no video). You can view the meeting agenda, which includes the call-in information, meeting materials, and announcements.

November is when we hold our officer elections. Any member is eligible to run to be an officer, and you can nominate yourself. We need to elect a secretary, treasurer, and co-chair. The secretary and treasurer are one-year positions, and the co-chair is a two-year position. The co-chair for this year must be a resident of Emerson East. The secretary and treasurer can be from either neighborhood. All members of the association who are present at the meeting can vote for officers.

There are a few items that will be added to the agenda once they are ready. Those are the minutes from October 2024 (which will be added directly into the agenda) and information from Bear Development about their project (which will probably be a link to a PDF).
